| So if I had a camera I'd kinda feel like Mary: one of my co-workers and his band played at Starbucks. At one point I was the only person there. Private show. Went to a show Friday, only to catch half a song by the band I went to see. But then they played an acoustic set at Starbucks on Saturday. Cool guys. Stealing Jane.
I'm really tired. I have the next 2 days off. I should relax. Maybe I will. |

It was a pretty crazy weekend.
Friday I opened. 530. So I open, and I work til 1145. Hang out/read/internet til 1. Lunch with a Nikki. Should say more about that probably. Indian food is great.
Open.
Homeless guy just told me he drums for Metallica. Not part of the story. But he claims to be better than Peart or Portnoy.
Back to Sbux to do something online (I forget what). Home at about 3. 530 I get a call. I head back to work. I close Friday night. It took us longer than it should have. It was like 10.
Open close.
Next morning I open again. 530.
Open close open. (open clopen...opeclopen?)
My parents are in town. We spend like 6 hours together.
Sunday I wake up and go to church after sleeping way too long but am still tired. Then I close.

| Yes, yes I do.
So let's see. Life.
I live in PA. Specifically, I work at the one in downtown HBG. I work at Starbucks. I eat too much pizza. I'm listening to a lot of Elliott Smith and reading quite a bit. Also I'm listening to Los Campesinos, Pavement, Stephen Malkmus, Iron Maiden, Jeff Mangum, and Bok Van Blerk.
I've been trying to stay really up to date on local news and stuff. I'm simultaneously learning a lot and absolutely nothing. Going kinda crazy. Getting snobbier in my coffee taste.
Yesterday I had a really great physics conversation with this guy. He is going to try to get me a work book to work through the equations of relativity because I told him I don't know a lot about the mathematics behind a lot of science stuff. So I'm reading through some calculus notes I found online to refresh my memory and also learn some stuff. I haven't taken a math class since 98|99. After I finish all this stuff, I want to try to take in some notes that I found on Riemann geometry.

| So in less than 2 weeks I move to PA. As I move on, I think I'm going to somewhat move on from xanga. I'm not saying I won't post at all, or that I'll never read your posts, but it will be less. I'm going to try to write more here.
ps That's not why I haven't been writing much lately. Life has just been crazy lately. Crazy with nothing interesting to say. |
